Biography
Hi - I am Roger Watson, a Sunday School teacher at King St Church in Chambersburg PA. Born and raised in Newton MA, I served in Viet Nam in the USMC. I graduated from the University of Maine in 1972 with a degree in Philosophy and Comparative Literature. I am an ordained pastor and have been teaching Sunday School for over 30 years.
Married with wonderful wife, 4 great children and 6 pretty amazing grandkids - I have been blessed.
I am excited about this course and what it could become. So you will understand me better and my perspective on the Bible, church and culture, it would be fair to say that I am conservative. I might say fundamental but as we will discuss more than once in this course, words do not always mean what one thinks they do. So for now let's just say I am conservative and go from there. Ultimately, what is important is not my perspective but the truth and that is what this course is all about.
